RP Digital Transcription Rates & Prices

For all Audio and Copy Typing

As long as you have access to a computer with e-mail, you can dictate from anywhere, for a fast turn around of work.  Transcription work is charged on a ‘per audio minute’ basis – not per hour of typing.

Please note that a Same Day and Weekend service are available at an additional 50p per audio minute on top of the 24hr rate.  Please note that work for completion overnight should be received no later than 5.00pm GMT.

Standard Service:	£0.90 per recorded minute
Work is processed and returned within 24 hours of receipt.  Charge is made on per-minute usage basis.
Priority Service:	£1.20 per recorded minute
Immediate real-time transcription on per-minute usage basis
Overnight Service:	£1.60 per recorded minute
Work in by 5.00pm, transcript back by 9 am:
Weekend and Holiday Service:	£1.20 per recorded minute
Copy typing	£12.00 per hour
PA or other office services	Price upon request
Printing:
black and white	10p per page
colour	25p per page

Our hourly rate also covers most office/secretarial services.  We just make a notional charge for any faxing, postage, delivery charges incurred.

Postage
Any postage fees are charged and invoiced quarterly in advance in addition to the administration fees.  Your mail will be despatched by Royal Mail first class post in the UK and standard air mail for overseas clients unless instructed to the contrary.

All transcription is done in Microsoft Word.   Completed work will simply be returned to you via email.

Payment

An itemised bill will be issued monthly.  We prefer that payment is made electronically – bank details will be supplied with our invoice or as below.  We request that payment is promptly made within 7 days of the date of the invoice.

Overdue accounts will attract interest at 8% above Bank of England base rate in accordance with Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
