RP Digital Transcription Services
audio transcription, digital transcripton, legal transcription and typing
We provide a digital audio transcription and secretarial service for individuals and organisations such as sole traders, small businesses, market research, students, authors, letting and estate agents, surveyors, lawyers etc. Email/upload your digitally dictated file to us and completed work will simply be returned to you via email.
We can transcribe digital file formats such as DSS (digital sound standard) Olympus, Philips, WAV, MP3, CD, DVD and, if required, provide copy typing services. All completed documents will be in Microsoft Word format unless stated otherwise.
We will work closely with you for the first few files to ensure the system meets your requirements.
When preparing your dictation to email/upload to us, please include a copy of any templates for letterheads, company forms, layouts, logos etc and other related electronic files necessary to complete your work to your formats. This enables you to just print out once you receive your completed document or letters.
We use best endeavours to accurately transcribe transcription and provide a proofreading service but would state that final checking and editing remains the responsibility of the client. Any words/sentences that are unclear on dictation will be appropriately highlighted in the document for your attention. Any errors or omissions bought to our attention within 48 hours of receipt will be amended free of charge.
Unless otherwise requested, we will delete all historic audio and word documents from our system, 30 days after confirmed receipt of payment of our fees.
Changes to terms
RPDT reserves the right to change these terms on notice by posting a notice of change to terms on the RPDT website.
Termination
You may give notice at any time in writing to RPDT requesting that all material relating to you, electronic or written, be destroyed by RPDT.
Ownership
Ownership of the goods and services sold by RPDT in all cases is retained by RPDT until payment is made in full for the goods and services as invoiced plus any other money, goods or services owing. If the goods and or service supplied by RPDT are sold prior to RPDT receiving payment in full, then the entire proceeds from the sale shall be the property of RPDT. Ownership of copyright in the templates, forms, precedents, and automated documents, documents, files and formats created by RPDT is retained by RPDT until payment has been received in full. Privacy Statement
We collect information such as email addresses only when you voluntarily submit them to us. We may from time to time contact you by e-mail to offer you a chance to opt-in to receive certain information and updates from us. You may at any time opt-out from all or some types of information through this channel. You can amend your details by returning the opt-out e-mail. Information about you provided to us can be used in any way by us to carry out our business. We do not sell, publish or give away your information. In certain circumstances, we may be obliged to disclose information to law enforcement or other government officials. RPDT does not use cookies on its site and is not able to identify users or track specific navigation by any user.
